Sewing Help for the Youth for the Temple Celebration

On Tuesday, May 16th from 9 am to 3 pm, at the church building, we are in need of people to help sew things for the Temple Cultural Celebration. If you can bring sewing machines, sergers, cutting boards and scissors. We need all the help we can get. Contact Amilyn Dye at (208)357-5499 with any other questions.

Idaho Falls Home Storage Center

The Idaho Falls Home Storage Center is offering two specially priced items for the general public to purchase during the month of May. Those two items are Apple Slices and Potato Pearls.

Apple Slices - 1 pound can $10.00 (was $11.25)         30 year shelf life
Potato Pearls - 1.8 pound pouch $3.25 (was $3.75)     1.5 year shelf life

Also, our Idaho Falls Home Storage Center has been selected to offer some new products. For a limited time only, you can now buy peanut butter, strawberry jam and honey. Prices for those are as follows:

The Home Storage Center is located at 770 W Anderson, Idaho Falls. Store hours are Monday thru Thursday 8 am to 4 pm. and Fridays 8 am to 2pm.

Dear Shelley 1st Ward Sisters,

As most of you know Debbie Lott was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. In honor of her fight, we would like to join the Shelley School District in wearing PINK on Friday, April 28th. Also, if you decide to wear pink, please take a picture of yourself and post it to our Shelley 1st Ward Relief Society Facebook page, with words of encouragement for Debbie. If you don't have a facebook. that's okay, I know Debbie will feel your love just by participating with wearing pink. She will not fight alone! We as SISTERS are one!

Ward Talent Show

Our Ward Talent Show is tonight at 6 pm. It's potluck soup and dessert. Come and enjoy watching our talented ward members.

A Musical Celebration

Tonight there is a musical celebration of the re-dedication of the Idaho Falls Temple. It will be held at the Shelley Stake Center (325 E Locust Street) at 7 pm.

Ron Lundquist

Ron Lundquist passed away yesterday afternoon. His funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the viewing before from 9:30 - 10:40 a.m.  It will be at our ward building. His obituary can be seen on Nalder's website at the following link.

Primary Music Homework

In primary this month we have been working on the song "Build an Ark" which is a song from "The Friend". On The Friend website there is a music video that I have encouraged the kids to watch. For those that have watched it they are learning the song a lot faster. Please help your child/children watch this video. It will really help them learn it. We are also learning "Choose the Right" and there is a music video for that as well. Thanks! Ward Movie Night

Just a reminder that tonight, Saturday December 28th, is the Ward Movie Night. It is at 6 p.m. in the gym. Bring your pillows, blankets, or something to sit on (anything is better than the hard chairs). We will watch a presentation of the Ward activities for 2016 and then the movie "Spooner". Bring snacks to share. Hope to see you there!
