Sister Kim Strupp gave a wonderful lesson on Judging.. How important it is to NOT judge someone in any given circumstance. We do not know the situation of what we are judging!
Too many have left the church and become inactive because of hurt feelings. This is one of Satan's ways of Discouraging us away from the truth and Heavenly Fathers will for us.
These are our Brothers and sisters we come in contact with each day, We must lift each other up and help each other to become who Heavenly Father knows we can become.
Let us all love one another and help each other to attain our goal, that of being with our Father in Heaven, where we can all sit down together and show our love for one another.

Presidency Message
Dear
Sisters, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend Time Out for Women,
in Idaho Falls this last weekend with 9 wonderful friends. The spirit
was there in abundance and I so appreciate that opportunity. One
speaker struck me with her thoughts asking us the question, "Where is my
ministry"? Instantly I thought that right now its serving in the First
Ward Relief Society, and my Dad. My Father had a stroke 13 years ago
this May, and for the last 15 months has lived in a care center here in
Idaho Falls. Over the course of life, my father and I haven't had a
great relationship, but when visiting him recently, the spirit told me
that this was the time God was giving me to come to love him more than I
have. So 2-3 times each week I head up there and visit for 30-45
minutes. We all have a ministry and whatever it is, be it your calling,
family, the sisters you visit teach, if we pray we will know what our
ministry right now is and make time to really give it all our hearts.
The speaker referenced Philemon, and in VS 9 it says, "Yet for love's
sake I rather beseech thee"......For loves sake we should receive
willingly our ministry. That is what my ministry is for my dad, its for
loves sake, and my ministry for the Relief Society is for loves sake. I
love you all sisters, I hope you know that.

Lesson Recap
Nicole Couch gave a wonderful lesson on the Conference talk given by Elder Robert D. Hales.
In our dispensation, the Savior Jesus Christ referred to a gathering of the saints as "My General Conference". At these conferences we will hear His word for He said, "Whether by my mine own voice or by the voice of my servants."
What is said is not as important as what we hear and feel. That is why we make our effort to experience Conference. We gather to hear the words of the Lord and return to our homes to live them.
President Monson recently said: "I encourage you to read the talks and to ponder the messages contained therein."

Presidency Message
The month of March is the 172nd birthday of the Relief Society organization. The seal was adjusted and simplified in 2012 to make it more useful and recognizable in a global Church. The slightly altered seal now places the name of Relief Society in prominence, more clearly identifying Relief Society as part of the Church. The year the society was organized, 1842, was removed from the old seal and the motto remained.
Brigham Young asked Emmeline B. Wells in 1876 to encourage the sisters to "save grain." This tradition of gleaning wheat and earning money for wheat would continue for decades afterwards. the wheat collected was used to feed the poor, giving to farmers to grow, and ground into flour for those affected by natural disasters. At the outbreak of World War 1, Utah Relief Societies sold their wheat storage to help the war effort and used the money to give women and their infants adequate maternity care. Since that time, wheat has been a symbol of the Relief Society's efforts to care for others.
Wheat is an appropriate symbol for the Relief Society not only becasue of it s association with assisting the poor, but also as a reminder of the bread of life, "the Savior."
The rays represent the knowledge from heaven referred to by Joseph Smith at the organization of the First Relief Society that would pour down on the society.
Charity never faileth is the motto of Relief Society. Blue and Gold are the official color of the Relief Society.
The sego lily is the flower of the Relief Society. Early Utah pioneer settlers ate the bulbs of the strong, beautiful sego lily during a time of extreme hunger. the life sustaining value of this beautiful wildflower is said to represent the beauty and life-sustaining service offered by Relief Society members.
The motto and sego lily were chosen to represent the Relief Society in 1913 by Emmeline B. Wells and her presidency.
May we realize what the forebears of our Relief Society have done for us. Sister Jane Smith

Visiting Teaching Message
The Divine Mission of Jesus Christ: Light of the World
As we come to understand that Jesus Christ is the Light of the World, we will increase our faith in Him and become a light to others. Christ testified of His role as "the true light that lighteth every man and woman that cometh into the world" and asked that we "hold up His light that it may shine unto the world".
Our prophets have also testified of the Light of Christ. President Henry B. Eyring, First Counselor in the First Presidency, said: "Each time you choose to try to live more like the Savior, you will have your testimony strengthened. You will come in time to know for yourself that He is the Light of the World...You will reflect to others the Light of Christ in your life."
Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said of our being a light to the world: "We need to protect our families and be at the forefront together with all people.

Sister Spotlight
Our Spotlight is on Sister Sharon Jones
Sister Sharon Jones was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho in the old LDS Hospital, if any of you remember that..She attended school in LaBelle, Idaho Beauty School and Business College. She says she taught accordion lessons to help her through school.
She has one son and 3 grandchildren. Sharon retired from Basic American Foods located in Firth, Idaho. Her hobbies are listening to music, working out in her yard, and caring for others. She says there were always Young People at her home and she loved caring for them.
We enjoyed her Gospel Doctrine class she taught before her hip surgery, which she is recovering presently at home. No matter how uncomfortable she is, there is always a smile for everyone. We love her and wish her a speedy recovery.

Preparedness Thought for March
It's time to prepare for the up coming winter. WHAT??? you might say, winter is not even over yet. The end of any season is the best time to buy items that you may need for that season. Stores have put on clearance all their winter products. Hats, gloves, boots, snow pants and coats--you get the idea. Clearance prices mean bookkkoo saving for you. Buy ahead for next winter and be prepared for the crazy weather Idaho can send your way. This concept works for fall, spring, summer and seasonal items as well. For example, the best time to buy Christmas stuff isn't before Christmas, its after when the prices are cut. More bang for your buck! There is a catch to buying ahead. Make sure you remember what you have bought so next season you don't buy something forgetting you already have it in your closet. Use a notebook to keep track of your purchases. Happy shopping.

Lesson Recap
President Joseph Smith taught " The forgiveness of sins comes through
faith and sincere repentance ". It is necessary, not merely that we
believe, but that we repent" .
Faith means action, ''faith is the moving cause of all action" "Faith without works is dead" James 2:18. Therefore , faith is stronger than belief..
Repentance is the second fundamental principle of the Gospel and the out growth of faith.
What we need in the Church, as well as out of it, is repentance. We need more faith and more determination to serve the Lord. We owe it to the world to raise a voice of warning.
