Our Identity and Our Destiny
You are child of God. He is the Father of your spirit. Spiritually you are one of noble birth, the offspring of the King of Heaven. Fix that truth in your mind and hold it. However, many generations in your mortal ancestry, no matter what race or people you represent, the pedigree of your spirit can be written on a single line. YOU are a child of God.
Please, sisters go to LDS.org, and search "Identity, and Destiny", and up will come Elder Tad Callister's talk. Please print it and study it. You will feel a powerful witness of your Heavenly Father's love.
Also please read and study the gifts of the spirit found in Moroni 10,
D&C 46, and 1 Corinthians 12-13. Also I would encourage you to read
your patriarchal blessings and remember that ,"If any of us are
imperfect, it is our duty to pray for the gift that will make us
perfect. If you are angry it is your duty to pray for charity, If your
hurt pray for peace. Review some of the less-conspicous gifts like: the
gift of asking, the gift to avoid contention, the gift of caring for
others, the gift of not passing judgement, the gift of kindness, the
gift to be able to ponder. I challenge you to pick a gift and pray for
