Jordan is serving in Clinton, Iowa and the surrounding area in Iowa and Illinois. This area has been one of his favorites. It is a beautiful area as it is along the Mississippi River. This past week on p-day he and the rest of his zone were able to go to the nearby state park and explore the Maquoketa Caves. For those of you that know Jordan very well this was a highlight of his week as he got to hike, climb, explore and get dirty.
He is kept very busy teaching investigators and helping his zone. Jordan loves the people he teaches. They have a few investigators as well as less actives they work with. Currently they have two people Don and Roberta who are progressing towards baptism.
He has had many opportunities to serve in this area. Recently the Red Cross along with the Catholic Church and the LDS Church went through the neighborhoods and installed smoke detectors in homes. That was a really neat experience and although they didn't teach that day they really made an impression on the other workers and people they helped.
He loves the people on Iowa and will be sad to leave them to come home in July.
