This recipe is donated by Carol Messick who originally got it from her Mother-in-law. After spending an afternoon at the Messick's, my daughter, Abby, came home with a cookie she had saved for me. She told me it was so good that after just one bite, "Your head will POP Off!' I figured that a recipe that good should be shared, but remember, hold on to your head while eating!
Head Poppin Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 C. Sugar
1 C. Brown Sugar
1 C. Shortening
Cream together
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 Heaping Cups Flour
Chocolate Chips to Taste
Preheat oven to 425 and Bake 10-12 minutes.
If cookies are flat, add flour.
