Recipes

Here are some of the wonderful healthy recipes from last weeks Weekday Meeting.  Thank you to Chelsea Killpack for her wonderful presentation and to all those who brought food for us to try!

 
Sweet and Salty Popcorn

Ingredients:  ½ cup popcorn unpopped
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
1 Packet Truvia (Stevia)
½  -1 tsp sea salt

Directions:  Pop popcorn
                       In a large bol toss popcorn with coconut oil to coat
                   Sprinkle Truvia and sea salt, toss again




Granola Bars

½ cup honey                            2 cups quick oats
2/3 cup brown sugar               1 cup rice crispy cereal
½ cup peanut butter               Chocolate chips
½ tsp vanilla

Bring honey & brown sugar to boil over medium heat.  Boil 2 min. Remove from heat.  Stir in Peanut butter and vanilla.
Pour over oats and cereal/  Stir to caot.  Press into ½ cookie sheet.  Top with chocolate chips.  Cool.
