I do not sew. I can hem, make bean bags, pj pants, and blankets with character, but it is not something I do unless I have to. Many of you do sew, so this thought might seem odd to you but it's still worth mentioning. If we had to mend our own clothing or even make clothing or blankets, do we have the supplies we need to do this? I asked myself that the other day; my answer was probably not for long. I decided I need to grab more thread and needles and even watch for fabric that goes on clearance, to have in storage. Needles and thread or a little sewing kit would be good to have in 72 hour kits. You never know when you might have to fix a hole!
